About Restaurant Honolulu

Restaurant Honolulu is a guide for visitors and locals deciding where to eat on Oʻahu. It is published by Eye To Ad Media in Honolulu.

How we verify

• Every listing is checked against recent sources: the restaurant’s own site and social accounts, reservation platforms and local news.
• Each restaurant page shows a Last verified date and its sources.
• We only publish hours we could confirm. If we couldn’t, the page says so instead of guessing.
• When we confirm a restaurant has closed for good, we remove its listing and add it to the recently closed list with the date and a source.

Sponsored listings

Restaurants can pay for placement. Paid placements are always labeled Sponsored. They never change the order of “Best of” lists, award listings or the directory itself. See advertising.

Corrections

Spotted something wrong? Send a correction. Owners can claim their page for free.

Photos

Food and dining photos are licensed stock images (Pexels license), and the Honolulu scenery photos were supplied by the site owner. Food photos illustrate a dish or occasion; they are not photos of a specific restaurant unless the page says so. Photos supplied by a restaurant are labeled on that restaurant’s page.

Ratings and reviews

We do not publish star ratings or review counts, and we do not add rating markup for search engines. For current reviews, check the restaurant’s listing on Google Maps or Tripadvisor.

Tools and data

The meal planner, near-my-hotel finder and map use the same records as the restaurant pages. The data is also published as restaurants.json for anyone who wants to cite it; please link back to the restaurant page you used.
